Painting Daily #13, originally uploaded by Uplifting Arts.

Lately I’ve been stuck in the “what the heck do i paint rut” so this month I’ve challenged myself to paint everyday. The only rule is to paint. I don’t need to complete anything, I don’t have to post it (I’ll be posting some of them) I just need to paint.

So far so good, its always an interesting process to put yourself though. I may even try extending it 365 days. For now though, I’m just focusing on getting through May.

I spent the day with this handsome fella . I found him wandering around my neighborhood. He’s now back home with his humans. Apparently their fence was broken during last weeks storm and Tucker and his buddy (who was found by another person) made a break for it.

Its been quite a while… I’ve been waiting for spring to come. Working with lots of yellows, reds, blues. Sowing seeds for the summer garden, lots of lettuce, spinach. Gathering flower seeds so I can have a summer flower garden to paint.

“You are now nearing the end of an old cycle and the beginning of a brand new one” or so says my horoscope for March.
